Product Description
American Type Compact Prefabricated Substation, also named pad-mounted transformer, is ANSI & IEC dual-standard integrated distribution equipment, widely adopted in North America, Southeast Asia and rural power grids worldwide. Different from European three-compartment split structure, it adopts fully integrated oil-immersed transformer integration design: HV load break switch, full-range current-limiting fuses, transformer winding and LV distribution busbar are all installed inside the oil tank, using transformer insulating oil as unified insulation and cooling medium, with ultra-compact footprint and single-side operation maintenance design.
Equipped with HV bayonet fuses, backup protection fuses and LV secondary circuit breakers to realize full-range overload & short-circuit protection without extra switchgear. The enclosure adopts thick anti-corrosion steel plate, standard IP44 protection grade, with rainproof roof, anti-theft lock and cable sealing glands. The whole unit features simple structure, low initial investment, small floor space, convenient on-site installation, and strong overload capacity for fluctuating rural loads.
We support customization of ANSI standard voltage levels (4.16kV /13.2kV /13.8kV /24.9kV), 60Hz frequency, single-phase / three-phase structure, and 304 stainless steel tank for coastal salt fog environment. All products pass strict oil leakage, insulation and short-circuit impact tests, with stable operation and low maintenance cost.
